St. Nichren Temple has three temples in the Houston area.

Rev. Seido's master is the late 66 high priest, Nittatsu Shoin Dai-Shonin, of Nichiren Shoshu. Rev. Seido Nise Shonin has been a buddhist monk for more than forty years. He is the only non-japanese monk in the 700 year history of Nichiren Shoshu.

St. Nichiren's primary teaching is the "NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO" of NICHIREN DAI-SHONIN.

Nam = Devotion

Myoho = Mystic Law

Renge = Cause & Effect

Kyo = Sound

All are welcome to our medition center. There is never a charge to study the teachings of Lord Buddha. Our temple and master will never ask for money for meditation classes.

If you wish to make a donation, you should only give from your heart. This is the only True Path to attain Buddhahood in this lifetime. You are welcome to give love offerings of food to the monks or cash donations for temple upkeep. They are never required, but always gratefully accepted.
